This is a vintage screen printed Japanese merchant. It is printed on a very fine translucent cream silk. The image is printed on half the length of the silk and the other unprinted silk is folded behind. The two layers together give the merchant more depth and suitable for framing or hanging. When folded (see full length image) this artwork measures 23 x 15 inches.The image is beautifully executed.
