This is a gorgeous fukuro obi woven with metallic and silk threads. The festival floats are very colourful and finely woven. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder is plain cream silk. The reverse is all cream silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed.
