This is a gorgeous fukuro obi woven with silk and metallic threads. The forest and mountain designs are woven in silk threads on a metallic silver background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of cream coloured silk. The reverse is also a cream coloured silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
