This is a lovely silver fukuro obi woven with silk and metallic gold threads. The floral and bird designs are woven in silver, bronze and gold on a silver background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of silver silk. The reverse is also silver silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
