This is a charming cream silk fukuro obi. The main design covers about 20 inches in the centre and there is a minor design about 3/4 along the obi. The rest of the obi and the reverse is plain cream silk.Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of orange silk. The reverse is also orange silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
