This fukuro obi is woven in a deep cream silk background with woven flowers and fan designs in pastel colours with lots of metallic gold outlines and highlights.Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of deep cream silk. The reverse is a plain deep cream silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
