This is a gorgeous purple/maroon silk kimono, probably from the 40s-50s. It has a woven bamboo pattern and with masses of gorgeous leaves, especially the non metallic gold ones. The lining is cream silk with some contrasting mustard coloured silk. The width from sleeve edge to sleeve edge is 54 inches and the length is 54 inches. This kimono would look spectacular either as a garment or to put on display.
