Item #14072 - Obi Pieces
description
Early to mid 20th century silk obi offcut. This piece is intrically woven and was either intended for or came from, a vintage maru obi. The reverse side of the piece is also interesting. The fabric is quite firm because it is so densely and finely woven. Please note that some of the full length photos show uneven colour towards the centre of the piece. This is merely the camera's flash catching the gentle sheen of the piece - colour is even and there is no fading.
