This is a stunning fukuro obi woven with colourful silk and metallic threads. The traditional design is woven in silk and metallic threads on a shiny, metallic orange silk background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of metallic orange silk. The reverse is a plain orange silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
