This is a gorgeous vintage kimono from the 1940s-50s. The deep purple rinzu silk is a little lighter than indicated in the photos, but is still a very rich, silky purple. The kimono features white hand shibori designs which link woven flowers and leaves in metallic and urushi (laquered) threads.
