Black silk haori, extensively patterned in metallic lacquered thread (urushi) in colours of gold, bronze and green, depicting an abstract scene of forests, mountains and streams. The haori includes a family crest and himo ties in cream. The lining is in cream with a design of stylised chrysanthemums. This is an outstanding haori which would look stunning as a wall display or as a garment for evening wear.
