This Blue Bamboo Quilt appeared in the August 2015 issue of the Australian Homespun Magazine. The instructions are in the magazine or on their website.They are also now included with this kit. This kit contains a photo of the quilt and all of the fabrics required to make this queen size quilt, including the binding. The four different cotton yukatas used to create the bamboo stalks may vary because quality, limited vintage cottons are used in this quilt. The bamboo stalks are machine sewn and the leaves are appliqued. It lends itself to domestic machine quilting and it would make an ideal man's quilt. The quality Japanese cottons wash to a soft durable quilt that will wash and look good for years to come. The kit also comes with the indigo blue coloured and cream homespun cottons and binding.
