This is a very beautiful fukuro obi woven with silk and metallic threads. The designs are woven in gold, orange and pink. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of a cream silk. The reverse is also cream silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
