This is a striking black silk obi with woven clouds in metallic and plain silk threads.. The overall design is quite beautiful and would make for a beautiful display. This obi does not have a core which makes it less stiff and easier to remove fold lines which can be steamed or ironed. This obi has no signs of being previously tied. Great obi for hanging, drape across a bed or to dress up a table. Traditionally 70% of one side is patterned and the reverse side is plain silk. The reverse side of this obi is plain black silk.
