This lovely orange silk fukuro obi is woven with silk and metallic threads. The Japanese iris designs are woven in silk threads on an orange silk background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of plain orange silk. The reverse is also orange silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
