This gold fukuro obi is woven with silk and metallic threads. The Japanese traditional motifs are woven in silk threads on a gold background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of dark gold with faux shibori pattern. The reverse is a similar fabric. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
