This pale metallic gold silk fukuro obi is woven with silk and metallic threads in various colours. The Japanese traditional woven floral pattern is woven in pretty metallic pastels on a pale metallic gold background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of a pale gold metallic silk. The reverse is the same pale gold metallic silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
