Metallic gold cloud background with large woven crane designs in white silk threads. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of cream silk. The reverse is a plain orange silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core. The patterned front is in excellent condition, however the plain silk reverse has several small rust marks spread over the length of the obi. It can still be used in a variety of ways without these minor faults being obvious.
