This is a man's vintage haori jacket. It measures 26 inches in length and 52 inches from sleeve edge to sleeve edge. It is made from a checked flannel wool and the sleeves are lined in a plain green wool. The extraordinary feature about this jacket is the outer sleeve woolen fabric. It features "Nippon" and "American" tennis players which, I believe, places the garment somewhere in post war 50's. It is generally in good condition with, however, a few minor insect holes which I have tried to capture in the last image. A great piece of social history.
