This is a beautiful vintage tan coloured silk obi. It features finely woven temples and maple leaves in gold and other silk threads. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of tan silk as seen in the last image. The reverse is also a tan silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
